About Cyclops Press

Cyclops Press is a boutique publishing house specialising in
producing books promoting the work of Australian photographers.
Based in Sydney, Australia, Cyclops Press concentrates on creating
books of the highest quality, and exploring projects where others fear
to tread.

Portraits from a Land Without People is designed to promote
understanding and tolerance of Aboriginal and Islander life, both at
home and internationally, by showing the richness, diversity and
resilience of indigenous culture. At the same time it will help improve
conditions for the indigenous community by raising funds for the Jimmy
Little Foundation’s work with kidney disease. As an extra benefit of the
book, several hundred copies will be given to remote communities with
low literacy levels to help instil pride in their indigenous heritage.

For this publication Cyclops Press joins forces with T&G Publishing,
whose current and proposed publications include a series of monographs
on renowned fine art photographers Ingeborg Tyssen, Lewis Morley,
Max Pam, Peter Elliston and Nathalie Latham, as well as an on-going
series of compendium publications profiling the work of  Australia’s
cutting-edge photographers and artists.
